From Foam to Stone in 72 Hours

Worked within the art department on the official Devil May Cry Netflix music video, in collaboration with Papa Roach. This was a large scale desert rock performance set, built on an accelerated 3 day build schedule followed by 2 days on set.

My work covered fabricating and carving the performance stage along side the production designer Hope Little. Fabricating foam to build the large rock formations, then scenic painting and texturing them to get a realistic desert stone finish for camera. I also helped with the full on set installation of the environment, band staging and layout, set dressing, and building out the surrounding desert landscape.

Five days, start to finish, to build and dress an entire desert environment convincing enough to hold up on camera for a Netflix production.
